A large part of the maintenance was carried out and delivered in the spring. In the summer, the thatcher will renew the thatch of 4 fields of the hull of the mill. (The reeds on the other 4 fields are newer and still in good condition). The exact schedule of this work is not yet known. During the work, measures will be taken to protect the mill’s inventory from dust, rain and wind. It will be decided in consultation with the thatcher whether the mill can remain partially accessible or must be completely closed to visitors, for safety reasons. As soon as there is more clarity, we will let you know.
