Inmiddels is bekend wanneer de rietdekker het riet gaat vernieuwen van 4 velden van de romp van de molen. (Het riet op de andere 4 velden is nieuwer en nog in goede staat).
Dit zal gebeuren na het einde van het molenseizoen 2024, dat duurt tot 31 oktober.A large part of the maintenance was carried out and delivered in the spring. The exact schedule of this work is not yet known. During the work, measures will be taken to protect the mill’s inventory from dust, rain and wind. It will be decided in consultation with the thatcher whether the mill can remain partially accessible or must be completely closed to visitors, for safety reasons.
